Last updated: July 17, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Beb, Inc. ("Beb," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you use EAT THE RICH, eattherich.gg, the game's online services, and related features we operate (collectively, the "Services").

This policy does not govern Steam, Discord, or other third-party services. Their own privacy policies apply when they process information for their services.

2. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the Services.

  • Account and profile information, such as your player name, internal player identifier, Steam identifier and public profile details supplied through Steam, and Discord identifier or profile details if you choose to link Discord.
  • Gameplay information, such as runs, checkpoints, scores, ranks, progression, achievements, inventory, equipped items, game settings, realm membership, raids, rewards, referrals, and anti-cheat or eligibility signals.
  • Social and support information, such as chat messages, shared game activity, reports, support requests, feedback, and other communications you send us.
  • Device and network information, such as IP address, request time, approximate location derived from IP address, browser or client type, device type, operating system, language, referring page, and service interaction data.
  • Diagnostics and security information, such as crash reports, performance data, error logs, suspected abuse, and information needed to investigate outages, cheating, fraud, or security incidents.
  • Website activity, such as pages requested, recruiter or campaign parameters in a link, and requests for public season statistics.

3. Sources of information

We receive information directly from you, automatically from your browser, device, or game client, from gameplay on our systems, and from supported services such as Steam or Discord when you use or link them. We may also receive information from hosting, database, security, customer-support, and diagnostics providers that process data for us.

4. How we use information

  • Provide, authenticate, operate, and maintain the Services.
  • Save progress, manage inventory and achievements, run seasons and realms, calculate rankings, and support multiplayer and social features.
  • Display player names, leaderboard results, chat, raids, and other activity that is designed to be public or shared with a realm.
  • Link optional Steam or Discord features that you request.
  • Respond to support, privacy, safety, and technical requests.
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate cheating, abuse, fraud, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
  • Debug, analyze, balance, and improve gameplay, performance, reliability, and accessibility.
  • Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect Beb, our players, and others.

5. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to perform our agreement with you, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, to comply with legal obligations, and with consent where required. You may withdraw consent for future processing when consent is the basis, but withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

6. How we disclose information

We may disclose relevant information to the following recipients:

  • Vendors that provide hosting, databases, infrastructure, diagnostics, security, communications, and customer support on our behalf.
  • Steam, Discord, and other services when needed to provide an integration you use or an action you request.
  • Other players and the public for features such as player names, profiles, leaderboards, chat, realm activity, raids, achievements, and shared game summaries.
  • Professional advisers, transaction counterparties, and successors in connection with financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business.
  • Courts, regulators, law enforcement, and other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and the Services.

7. Sale, targeted advertising, and profiling

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use the Services to show third-party targeted advertising. We do not use solely automated decision-making to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

8. Cookies and local storage

The website and browser version of the game may use cookies, local storage, and similar device storage for essential session state, preferences, referrals, tutorials, warnings, and security. The desktop game and Steam may store comparable settings or identifiers through their own client features.

You can clear browser storage through your browser controls, although doing so may sign you out, reset local preferences, or affect functionality.

9. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, keep player progress and account history, maintain game integrity and security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by data type and may continue after you stop playing where needed for backups, fraud prevention, enforcement, tax or accounting records, or legal claims.

We may retain public chat and gameplay records for moderation, integrity, and historical leaderboard purposes. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, unless law permits or requires longer retention.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your Steam, Discord, and device credentials.

11. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact gm@beb.xyz so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and appeal a denied privacy request. You may also have rights concerning sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, although we do not currently engage in those activities as described in Section 7.

To submit a request, email gm@beb.xyz with the subject "Privacy Request." Describe your request and provide information reasonably necessary to match you to your player account or prior communications. We may need to verify your identity. Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable law permits. To appeal a decision, reply to our response or email us with the subject "Privacy Appeal." We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

13. International transfers

Beb and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws from where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

14. Third-party services and links

The Services may link to or integrate with Steam, Discord, storefronts, social networks, and other third parties. Those parties may collect information directly from you or your device under their own privacy policies. Review their policies before using their services.

15. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date above when we do and provide additional notice for material changes when required by law.

For questions, privacy requests, or concerns about this policy, contact Beb, Inc. at gm@beb.xyz.
